VaShawn Mitchell - Psalm 150

This Video's got me speaking in tongues....Now that's what I'm talking about! Sanctified Musik!!!

VaShawn Mitchell - Turning Around for Me (Live)

I'm just speechless. This is quality music to the LORD, without having to sound lustful. As thought, it was done on B Flat.

My Favorite "Handy" Keyboard

I was tired of playing 5 octave keyboards. So my friend, Damilola Ayeni (Crazy "Phat Chordist")
advised me to get this: the Yamaha DGX 640. I prefer this to so many models because of the following:
  • 7 octaves
  • Has its own speakers; no need for a combo, unlike the Motif series
  • Full weighted keys
  • Less than a thousand Dollars on Amazon.com

10 habits Every Keyboardist MUST Outgrow!

  1. Looking for the "Transpose" button/function on your keyboard
  2. Once-in-a-blue moon practice
  3. Forgetting to pray
  4. Playing without a Sustain (Damper) Pedal.
  5. Dwelling on Primary Chords all your life
  6. Playing solo when playing with a band
  7. Unnecessarily making jest of up coming keyboardists: let your criticism be CONSTRUCTIVE
  8. Stopping in the middle of  a playing session. Don't you know you are feeding to the console?
  9. Doing more of runs than chords ALWAYS.
  10.  Coming late to church, service, or a session
  11. One more: lying that you've scored when you've not
  12. Another: Listening to a song, and claiming you're scoring. Go and practice note for note. Although, some there are, who score with their head: The Maestros.
Got any others? Please share. We shouldn't be mediocres!
